new national regulations demands 500h MCC for new flight deck crew who are foreigners.

€6000 net sounds alot, is it really that bad?

For instance in Sweden that would be aprox. €11000-€12000 before income tax every month. Not alot worse than what a captain at SAS Sweden makes.
