can anybody comment the rule of thumb re tailwind...

can anybody comment the rule of thumb re tailwind takeoffs in most ga aircrafts saying 5% increase for every 2 knots tailwind? been operating with this condition for nearly a year now.

now because of zest caap issued a memo for a strict compliance for the standing caticlan notam of one way in one way out. land 06 and t/o 24 irregardless of wind, less pilots discretion to choose...
