Thanks for the reply A4. Is the reserve period 5-4-5-3 too or does it break the sequence? Also I assume that when you take leave you only need to take 5 days out of your 20 annual leave to get 5+4+3...

They are desperate for pilots, hence the two page ad in Flight, so if I say I'll only join if you give me DEC jet then with my experience that's what I'll get or I won't join. Simple as that.

Bottom of seniority yes, but not bottom by date of joining the company which dates back to joining CFlyer not BA. Two different dates for different purposes.

I too heard this rumour, but no details, that BMed were likely to pick up some of the cut BA routes, ?Gatwick ones and operate them from LHR in order to utilize and keep BA's slots there alive....
