I guess Eastern Airways with its ERJ170 will see...

I guess Eastern Airways with its ERJ170 will see increased business. BA appears to be already using them a bit for ACMI flights at City.

Cityjet reducing LCY Network from S17

It looks like Cityjet is cutting back its network from LCY from S17:

AMS down to 4x per day (probably due to KLM's new 4x a day flight)
RTM down to 3x per day
ANT down to 3x per day

I think a 170 went tech

Was on the 8485 to PMI yesterday afternoon and the pilot said the plane had been swapped (also a 170) due to going tech. There were also long delays on the 170 operated flights from Nice and Ibiza....

G-LCYK went tech last night..

..problem not sorted by this morning and my flight to PMI was finally operated by 170 (LCYH). No load issues as there were only 14 PAX!!

Landed with 90 min delay, which was not to bad.

It appears that tomorrows flight to PMI will be completely full. Fingers cross I get bumped up :)

Long may the flights to PMI last, excellent product and the 190 are very comfortable.

I think the 2 EDI flights on Saturday morning are movement flights that can be booked. I have booked for the 5th of July without any issue.

With a bit of luck Air Europa will relaunch LGW to PMI, as they operated a couple of years ago.

Flew EasyJet PMI to LGW last Sunday, and it left a lot to be desired.

Reason for Today's BA 8471/2 LCY -BCN Cancellation

Hi All,

What is the reason behind BA's cancellation of BA 8471/2 from City to Barcelona today. I checked on Seatcounter and loads seem light for all 3 days it operates this and next week?

MY suggestion would be to book NWA tickets on either www.orbitz.com or www.cheaptickets.com both sell NWA tickets and take UK credit cards.

The fare difference is minimal.

I live in wapping, which is in the approach and departure path of City. Yesterday's departures were definately different, and the outbound flights did not take their right turn until over wapping.
