I believe the main reason for BA employing HKG...

I believe the main reason for BA employing HKG based crew is for their language & cultural skills-set (often including more than one type(?) of chinese).

Not saying there cannot be a European(?)...

"BA" is far more than just Bassa and BA is not going on strike any time soon, not even discussing it.

As said above it is an internal bassa dispute, nothing more.

Just to be absolutely clear - being on the BA MSL would not stop OS being meritocratic within itself and need not incur any additional costs or complexity because Balpa is willing to negotiate those...
