Yes, eglnyt is correct. It was due to a numpty operating a drone on a 5m final for 23R near Stockport. Only one diverted to Liverpool in the end and that was MON547V.

I have counted 9 diversions into MAN tonight and it is now full, can not take anymore divs. Plenty of EZYs going to LPL now

WFS big contract

A few people earlier mentioned about a new contract for WFS. There were rumors it was Thomas Cook but I've just been told by a Jet2 pilot that they are going to them from January....must be Jet2 then?

Of the 3 routes, MAN is definitely the poorest performing. Most flights will have about 30/40 booked on (MAN-LHR), occasional morning flight might have nearly 100.

Seems there is an issue with the A380. Someone has said the "bypass system" on the nose gear didn't do as it was suppose to and now the tow bar has snapped and is wedged underneath the nose gear....

Seen a photo on facebook of the afternoon Qatar A330 surrounded by emergency vehicles on stand 202. Any ideas as to what happened? Looks like a possible fuel leak if you ask me?

EXS809 circling

EXS809 MAN-AGP departed before, got onto UN862 then did a 180 and is currently circling at FL110 over LBA, no emergency squawk too. :confused:
