Well yes if its TUPE. How they(managers) decide who and how many staff they will take to run the operation is still a mystery. I think the flush is broke though!

Already reported here, and is not a rumor anymore.

I read that Delta are moving some flights from T4 to T3 at LHR. What company will handle them below-wing? I suppose that Virgin Atlantic will provide over-wing operations at T3.

Wink

the contract has been renewed some time in 2011 (March/April) for further 3 years with Cobalt.
The transatlantic joint-venture DL+VS begins this summer time, they also talk about to develop a strong partnership in the on a series of improvements on the ground and in the air that will be particular appealing to corporate customers.

It's very likely that Cobalt will lose the contract.

DNATA now starting to handle VIP flights at Heathrow, not sure what VIP operators they have though!

There is another thread running discussing DNATA and this subject on the bizjet forum.

Interesting move by DNATA.

Yes Delta are moving 3 flights a day to T3 at the start of the summer season. Not sure who is going to handle them just yet. With Swissport taking over Servisair next year and that Swissport handle Virgin everywhere else they (Swissport) could take the whole contract.

interesting times the next few months has in store at LHR for the ground handlers.........

Menzies has lost the contract for Easyjet at BFS. Swissport take it over from 31st March. Whats going on there? Menzies have lost it now in a few stations in the UK!

I though Menzies and Swissport work together????? They do in Spain!

Could this be the next take over????? Don't think it would be aloud tho. They might not even give the go ahead for the Swissport/Servisair takeover yet. It hasn't been confirmed yet by the competition body....? Has it?
