I suggest you buy Tom Clements King Air book. All this will be explained, he is a boffin on all the King Air models going back to the first KA produced.

The only schools in my opinion are Cape Town...

The only schools in my opinion are Cape Town Flying Club and Stellenbosch Flying Club. Further afield are Progress in PE and 43Air School in Port Alfred AFIC in Oudschoorn!!! Be absolutely sure...

Malaria meds are not perfect when it comes to constant use. If you anticipate going to africa on a regular basis speak to the BA travel clinic. For the occasional trip please take the meds....

Accra is a fairly good place to go in Africa, radar, decent airfield and good english spoken. Use a handler(Universal Aviation and Weather can organise) Malinill is the prefered meds for malaria...
