Graviman, you wrote that .38 lbs/hph equals 190g/kWh. Now if I do the maths, I end up with a different figure:
1 lb = 454 g
1 kW = 1.36 hp
so:
0.38 lbs/hph = (0.38*454*1.36) g/kWh = 235 g/kWh
...
