Yep, chopper engines, though it has to be said that it was a good varied grounding in how to approach and complete jobs, which has stood me in good stead over the years.

They want to have system where fair negotiation takes place, the two sides have come very close BA wants 62.5m the union offered...

Much of it has been driven by changes driven by law to what can be invested in....
However BA also may be partly to blame as they took a "pensions Holiday"...

BASSA and Amicus(CC89) are both branches of UNITE. (so in effect the same these days-they used to be separate until the TGWU joined unite a couple of years ago)

Silent reviews only take 30secs...... CC are sitting strapped in by the customers, usually some minutes before T/off......and quite a few after.

Plenty of time to complete their silent review and...

If jayPee28bpr is correct then maybe BA could save lots more money by reducing the pay of ALL of its staff to "market rate + 10%"

(at least that way we can see we are all being treated equally...

You only partly understand "scheme" rules. Under LAW, the rest must be 'one hour less than the duty period'
Therefore on a long range flight with a duty day of say 16h30m...the minimum rest...
