just had the pleasure of seeing the last flying Vulcan come over bc about 3.50pm local at no more than 1500ft above ground level, lovely sight and surprisingly quiet.

Having viewed the pic of G-TOPS with its aerial, that was exactly what it was but not TOPS unless its had a colour change, definitely a squirrel

I totally agree with JTobias, I know the examiner and have flown with him on several occassions; I cannot imagine anybody being able to impart safe flying within ones own capabilities better...

I've flown in several times & know of no restrictions as to direction. Keep a good look out for power transmission cables to the west. Lovely, friendly, knowledgeable people.
