The normal procedure at EFT (they told me so) is...

The normal procedure at EFT (they told me so) is to go back home back after Basic Training. Then do the ATPL's, en then go back for professional training and working.

if I calculate right, 270 hours over 270 days (9 monhts) is about 1 hour flying a day.

Is that a big problem?

And 14 monhts in stead of 9!

Thats about half an hour a day flying...
