I would warmly recommend James Peplow at Shobdon, training on a well equipped modern Warrior. He took me through a long lapsed IMC renewal in a few days of quite intensive flying.

Lundy

You would be best going into Lundy on the Devon Strut organised fly in in the summer. The strip is pretty rough, but fine for a Cub and long enough.

Swansea currently Notamed as unlicensed Monday & Tuesday, but you can still fly in - with no landing charges. Not much activity, but not as bad as the post suggests. Fuel available.
