Qatar (Doha) ATC for new Airport

We have the odd toilet breaks... QCAA hires yeah... Old airport still operating. Military, college and Gulf Helicopters... Quite busy at times with mainly VFR...

Mate it's all hit and miss. They had all the guys parked on the eastern apron of the eastern RWY and same for the west. Problem is although there are SIDS for each RWY it creates a massive problem...

You will get an email saying thank you but sorry... The tests in my opinion is a crock of sh&t.... Simply can't see how phyc tests determine if I'll be a good ATCO who an obey rules and do my job...

Working two TMAs on one screen

They want us to do it 24hrs. During the day both TMAs gets infested with VFR trainers and IFR trainers as well as a moderate flow of IF Jet traffic during the day. The airfields are 155nm apart......

Pilots changing career

Not sure how old you are but ATC not a bad option this side of the world. That been said I must admit that it's tough times in all professional sectors. Maybe artisan is the way to go....
