They are also fitted with AIS, which does not give as much info, but has a faster...

Agree, the kit is usually out there on merchants ships (ignoring grey funnel at this point), but the skills and experience to fight fires at sea are not.

I'm guessing you might already know this, but HMCG use a Troll Alphin stretcher for their ground troops. This is foldable, reasonably lightweight and rated for Helo lifting.

We get frequent requests from Yachts, clubs etc for winch practise with the Helo.
I know the guys are usually after a variety of boats, anything from supertankers to small yachts.
