There were no manuals for the MkII at the time. We got the GS screwdrivers and opened every panel we could to locate major components and see where items such as magnetic plugs and temperature bulbs...

Thanks for that, pretty much as I thought. I’m not sure I follow your logic on the costs though.

My wife (a nurse) sees the NHS side of this and questions the premise that the NHS recoups...
