EASA & the CAA

On 28 September EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) wil become the single regulatory body for aviation safety.

How does this effect the work at the CAA?

Would anyone from Flight Ops care to comment on how their work will change?

Presumably it will mean that the CAA will no longer be able to insist that other JAR mod approvals are no good?

That other nationalities do know something about aircraft. Could it mean that the cost recovery elements of the CAA's work could be undertaken by other JAR states?

Or will it just mean they will file more and more 'national differences'?
