Wolf! (?)
I think the next time the alarm goes off at the Thistle Irvine (near Prestwick) I'm gonna stay in bed...
...especially if it's -1C outside.
The last time it happened I returned to my room and a little message was displayed on the TV thanking everyone for their cooperations and reminding us to shower with the door *closed*.
Do you mean to tell me they can't find a fire detection system that will differentiate between smoke and water vapor?

Glam bags under the eyes
zerozero,
Having black bags under the eyes combined with a pissed off, blaze look and ignoring your people around concentrating at your mobile, can be glamour.
It takes a little practice though. Just check any life style magazine.

If I get a Hotel fire alarm I will at least get dressed and find out WIHIH - there has been at least one incident where a whole aircraft crew (plus other hotel guests) died because they were so used to ignoring alarms nobody bothered to find it was for real on this occasion
