Devil Accident Info

Hi

I am new to these sites, and I need a bit of help, I have to do a presentation on traceability and was looking for and case where they traced the fault back to the supplier.
It may have been a wiring fault or whatever, I want to make a good job of this but struggling as I dont know where to find the factual info, that I can use
You know the sort of stuff, why we need traceability in a business etc.
Any help in any direction would be appreciated

Research research research

This stuff is pretty easy to find on your own if you're trying to complete your studies.

UA232 comes to mind

But why don't you just review the published reports on the web sites for the AAIB and NTSB and that way at least the research and pruning of results will be your own and serve you better in the future.

UA232 comes to mind
It may come to mind, but the fan disk supplier (GE) had identified geriatric problems with the CF6 fan disk many months before UA232, and had promulgated extensive special inspection procedures to ensure continued safe operation of this 25-year-old engine.

The operator failed in implementing said inspections; they had neither adequate equipment nor sufficient trained staff to fully carry out the inspections.
