This thread is in severe danger of being closed and people sent to the sin bin.

So play nicely together and don't make me come up there.

I was really quite enjoying this thread please carry on the slightly more 'adult' discussion.

Sorry about that!

bikes and planes

I used to own an Hrd 1000cc vincent, and a manx norton.
for my pension fund

Flew Barry Sheene around in his Pa 23 250 G-BCCE which I bought from him when he bought his helicopter.I used this A/c as a back up for spares for the IOM TT races. (Suzuki and Honda teams)

I have been round the TT course on the back of a bike driven by Joey Dunlop, and have been round Donington on a bike driven by
Barry Sheene, now I appreciate what speed is. but it's all relative.

Back to the thread I dont condone drinking and flying merely trying to point out if you do drink on a night stop beware you can get caught out.

I remember an ex Raf/Ba rtd captain once stating beware of the crew member who wont have a beer at the bar,or always has a soft drink he's the type that has his own stash in his samsonite,in his room, the secret drinker thats the dangerous one.

He also gets his carry out and eats alone, sitting on his bed all alone in the room.

Thats the one who tells stories usually Porkies.

out of school.
