I find more often than not, it is really our own resposibility to help bring the other chap, "out", in the flight deck, ask hobbies, family,...what he or she flew in the past what cities, what are favourite places... on and on. Then I think you will find these people in the flight deck to be negligable.....CRM

I have never heard such a stupid thing.

Fire the poor guy just because he isn`t a Mr.Smile? Is it better to have an Hypocrit smile beside you??

People don`t like people who doesn`t speak because they can`t form an opinion about them.I`d love to have some guys around me like that.

When I fly with guys who don`t like to chat ,I just ask a manual and study all the flight.

The time you spend studying in flight is the time you enjoy at home.

Good flights
