We fly 20 and 30 series Lears. At the end of the day I will say that there is far less fatigue when using the headsets. Most of us use the telex jobs with the foam pads not the anr type. There are fewer missed calls and when the ISO amp goes out you can still hear something.

Being that our pax are almost in the flightdeck with us the privacy the headsets aford is also a plus. Nervous types in the back also do not hear weather pireps for someone else and get scared. All in all they are the way to go in our operation.
