LHR single runway 8/3/03

Anyone know why 27R was temporarily closed around 20:00 ish yesterday? Caught snippets on the tower frequency about an A340 blocking the runway and needing to be towed away.

The aircraft had a hydraulic problem and lost steering capability, it was towed back to stand for repairs.
