Gimme my Jumbo back. .86/360 and the 3x table were all you needed. The 777 is an outstanding machine but the Jumbo....Norman Foster was asked what his favourite building of the 20th C was. He said the Boeing 747. Pop the brakes, and thunder down liked a raging Thor. Can someone order some -8’s please? Thank you in advance. And just think of the fuel savings over an A380.

To our growing list of bugbears, may I add :
Stopper for Flightdeck door!
Detaching upholstery above both pilot seats, similar to headlining of 1990 range rovers!
Falling FD emergency exit cover.
Pilot seats reduced padding compared to 767/777.
Storage compartment latches on FD.
Does anyone else find it difficult to unlock/open the toilet door!

Apparently Boeing do, as the newer -8s and all the -9s that I have flown have the much easier ‘bi-fold’ door.

A little unfair

If I have any bias in this issue it would be towards team A, but this is ridiculous.

"The 787 battery fires." are ancient history now.
"The 737M control issues." Yep. That's a real problem B needs to fix.
"The 777W engine issues." Seriously? It's the airframer's fault if the engine manufacturer is having trouble delivering a new engine on time and up to spec? Hello. I've got the A320NEO delays on line one and A380 RR engine failures on line 2. They'd both like to talk to you. Engine delays and defects happen to both A and B. As long as the defects get corrected, this is normal.

If you want to list three problems Boeing has with its reputation right now and don't just want to say "737MAX" three times, that list should probably be:

737MAX:
Air Force tanker quality problems; and
737MAX (or maybe 787 quality problems, but I'm not sure how serious those are).
