Another small airline falls by the wayside. Seems to be one by one failing month by month. Big getting bigger,
One has to have sympathy for all involved with their operation, not sure now many are affected. Looks like they haven't left any SLF stranded which is a positive. Would expect what crew they have to be hoovered up by the biggies.
This BRexit stuff could prove to be a massive problem in the coming few months with so much uncertainty. Seems to be a turbulent period ahead.

G-MISG Boeing 737-300 should have positioned to Cardiff today. G-ILLR Avro RJ100 last flew according to FR24 on Oct 1st leased to Hop and is at Toulouse.

I didn't know much about CELLO so did a Wiki to find out.
At lunchtime today, 12th October, Wiki already said -Cello Aviation was a British charter airline based at Birmingham Airport. The airline primarily operated private and VIP charters with two specially configured aircraft. It also operated wet lease and full charter flights with an Avro RJ100 aircraft.[1]
So it seems someone had already updated Wiki to the past tense within a couple of minutes of the announcement - which I find quite strange.
Good Luck to the people involved - been there, done that....And honestly, all the better for it !!

That's a shame.
I've flown as SLF on their jets many times, frequently on G-RAJJ, their old Avro/BAe 146, and the staff were always fantastic. The refurbished 737 they had was odd, though - fake carbon fibre everywhere, and switches with misspelled labels!
Hopefully everybody comes out of this ok.

G-ILLR the RJ is now at Cranfield having been positioned in this afternoon. G-MISG, AFAIK is (as stated above) headed to Cardiff.

They only did whole-plane charters and ACMI flying so it is likely that the only individuals out of pocket are their former staff.
It takes a lot more than pilots to run an air operator, a lot of good people are out of work and deserve sympathy and support.
