Yep, it can also be one of those beautifully evasive subtly misleading statements since it could also mean that no reports were even filed about Ryanair.

There is an issue here somewhere it looks like where some pilots in a company doesnīt feel comfortable raising issues internally and sometimes externally which is not good.

Unless youve worked for Ryanair you won't fully understand the issue the pilots are trying to raise here.

The issue is not whether the airline is safe or not its the fact that many of the people who work there (and not just flight crew) believe that the management culture is unsafe.
Most airlines are a good mix of results and respect focus.
I recall recently during the Libya conflict that Brindisi all of a sudden became a military only airport (i think it was Brindisi). FR moved all their flights to an airport 90 mins away. I believe FR decided to "rebase" all their crews to this new airport and gave them no provision of transport or Hotels. Any respect focused airline would have done the obvious. The Pilots ended up being a taxi service for the cabin crew. This doesn't make their culture unsafe but perhaps highlights the para above

I see the Daily Mail have quietly settled out of court in the libel action brought by Ryanair.

Can't see the point in bringing an action if the verdict which cleared the airline has to be kept so relatively quiet.

Perhaps it's the right time to remind people that, if you post something which repeats a libel, you've committed the same libel.

Daily Wail lawyers caved on this very quickly. Likely having reviewed their clients case pretty much told them that their day in court would have one outcome and a big bill.

Bearing in mind that Daily Wail has run quite a few Ryanair stories while seemingly ignoring other airlines court could conclude it was a vendetta and reward damages accordingly.

There was no win for the newspaper on this.

What next ? speaking to the pilots ? re-instating those dismissed for daring to speak out ? somehow I doubt if the new found warm & fuzzy feelings will be extended to employee relations . . . until "Hell freezes over"

How funny. Now what things would they be then?
