Lufthansa Reject 10% pay increase

I heard from a German colleage that the Lufthansa boys have rejected the company's latest offer of 10% and are preparing for more strike action. They have told the management that 18% is the absolute minimum they will accept. No nonsense over there; have BALPA thought of doing an exchange deal with the German unions?
We wait with interest.
