Matinair Incident AMS 8/1/10

Anyone know any more on this?

Incident-January 8, 2010

Schiphol Airport, 8 January 2010 - This morning around 08.30 AM a Martinair Holland Boeing 767 aircraft , slided of the dedicated test run area during an engine test run at Schiphol East. The test run of motors, while the aircraft is standing still on the test run area, is part of regular maintenance.
On board were only two technicians. No personal injury occurred. The incident does not have any consequences for today’s Martinair flights.
The incident seems to be caused by slipperiness. The exact damage cannot be reported yet.
We will provide more details as soon as they become available.

3 tires on the grass, no damage expected, non-event, except for a scare of the engineers

Luckily no wall in front of the runup area, like in Toulouse.

And the unbelievably uniformed Telegraaf of course says the airplane went off the runway.

Worstbroodje,
De Telegraaf is absolutely correct. The aircraft is 'off the runway'. The fact it was never on it in the first place is immaterial.
