More than 12hrs now, and only 3 posts (including this one)
Ryanair have managed 168 posts so far for the same sin.
Agenda ? what agenda ?
Happy New Year to all those forced to "enjoy" low- cost.

Not to mention there will be a hell of a lot more English-language news updates for a Ryanair going off the end at Prestwick than a Wizzair Ukraine going off the end in Kiev...

Another KBP off piste incident
It seems there were two off piste incidents at KBP between Christmas and the New Year. In the first, on 28th, an Aerosvit B737-500 on a flight from Tiblisi went off the runway while landing in a heavy snow shower and poor visibility at 2006 local and slid into a snow bank. No injuries occured.
The next day Wizzair Ukraine A320 UR-WUB, skidded off the left hand edge of the landing runway on a flight from Venice before coming to a stop at 2237 No injuries occurred, both engines received fan damage.

Yet another off piste at KBP
Believe there has been another off -piste excursion at KBP over the weekend involving an Iranian IL-76 which is reported to have ended up facing 180 degrees from the direction it was originally going

If so that would be the 3rd such event. According to a good friend in Ukraine the wizz incident also ended up 180 degrees to where it should have been and the plane is currently being assessed for major damage to landing gear, both engines and possibly the structure.
