Wink concorde supersonic test flights

Have just watched sky news, concerning taxy trials of alpha fox.
A so called aviation expert was asked "what tests will be carried out during a supersonic test flight?".
Said expert replies "fuel system test and hydraulics and of course the tyres!".

I have worked on concorde and i work for BA, but can anyone explain the supersonic airtest of the tyres?????????.

Question

Just seen another "aviation expert" (quote) called Chris Yates on Sky news explaining that they were just testing it in the "terminal manouvering area" today and that they would shortly be flight testing it,,,"probabaly subsonic first then supersonic!"
What exactly is an aviation expert? who is this guy?

I saw that guy alright, aeronautically challenged or what?
Sky usually use Paul Beaver as their 'aviation expert' except when theres a war on when he appears as a 'defense expert'
together with Francis Tusa, who are these guys, does anybody know anything about them?

Pengineer:

Typing 'Francis Tusa' into a well-known search engine produced the following:

I too, used to work on that aircraft. Like you, I'm baffled!!
After seeing what Jean Alesi can do to his tyres on the ground just because he's happy I shudder to think what Concorde's tyres would do if they hit the ground at Mach 2!!

Well, these are new "special" tires, maybe they're going to taxi it back and forth across the atlantic.

Expert = 'Ex' meaning has-been; 'Spurt' a drip under pressure.
