First: Use your own words and don't plagiarise from other lists. Your reply has appeared on a number of other list's authored by someone named Maureen and/or Dave. I don't know who was first with it but it certainly wasn't you. I will supply the links if you wish!
Second: Who really gives a **** what Liverpool calls it's airport?
Third: Liverpool (Bristol, Newcastle, Leeds, Coventry, Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff etc.) has at least one thing going for it. It's not manchester. :-))

Rockwell, the naming of Liverpool in this way was to provide publicity for the airport and you have done your bit to keep Liverpool Airport in the publics eye as this thread has proved!
Maybe you could use all your influence to see if MAN can do the same. Maybe "The Cheshire OASIS Airport"?
I could not have failed to notice by your failure to post on the "British Airways Regional routes to BACE at Manchester" thread
or is it too painful to see the "downsizing" to 50 seaters and what could be the end of BA in MAN(160to4DME)?

What are you on, Onan? Honest, they are my own words, I know 'cos I
typed them
I haven't seen any other lists. After all, there is only one and it is
this one, is it not?
Maureen? Dave? Are these new airport names per chance?
Ah! Maureen, one of my favourite MAN voices - fame again lass!
Onan, I hope you enjoy your next flight from Lester's utopian airport. Pity
that your destination will unfortunately have to be MAN, because your
national airline and other Canadian operators prefer it.
BTW, I am impressed with your knowledge of UK airports. Especially
noted is your ability to differentiate between their locations. Well
done, sir!
P.S. I would have thought that Liverpool Airport's management actually
gives a ****, considering they must think it is a great idea.

You are even more tiresome with your anti Liverpool rhetoric as Onan is with his dislike of the city of Manchester. As to your comments about Toronto LBP, here are some facts. YYZ presently handles almost double the pax throughput as MAN. YYZ presently has three terminals, two of which (2&3)are each bigger in area than MAN's two terminals combined. Upon completion of it's terminal re-development and the completion of it's six (YES SIX!!) runways, YYZ will have a capicity of 60 million pax throughput per annum. Not bad for an outpost of Empire. Eh!
Might I suggest that you and Onan take your petty childish feud elsewhere? At least Onan has stated a reason for his dislike of Manchester, what's your reason for disliking Liverpool so much? No! don't answer that, i'm not really interested.

AOG-YYZ, or should I say Onan:
Your ignorance of the Bridgewater Hall is one thing, but when you throw
in your veiled insults re. Mancunians, then don't be surprised at the
response you got.
Thank you for the YYZ info: as I said, a splendid airport which, as you
know, can be reached on daily flights ex-MAN.

As a fellow Liverpudlian, I can't see anythin' wrong with this namin' thing! May be it should've been the 'Stelios Liverpool Airport', but never mind.
Apparently when we get our second, third and fourth terminals (??) they'll be named John, Paul, Ringo and George!
Cheers!

Oh! and how sorely we need a subway link. But I have heard that negotiations are under way with CN and GO to provide a link to the GO Station at Malton. A LRT with Kipling TTC station would be much better.
