Post Metrojet Dumps Passengers

I just read today on one of the News Wires that Metrojet (USAIR Low Cost operation) was closing down. Since I had roundtrip tickets on Metrojet in late Dec, I immediately called them and sure enough they had canceled all their future flights including our nonstops and rolled us over into USAIR complete with stopovers. I then canceled my non-refundable fare and gained a refund (involuntary rerouting) and rebooked on Delta Express with no problem.

Apparently Metrojet was gambling that the greatest loss of passengers in the future would be the low cost market and thus their desire to ground that fleet while protecting the newer fleet in the USAIR livery.
