KLM uk moving F100 to KLM cityhopper?

As very few KLMuk pilots would accept an AMS basing & (I imagine) very few City Hopper pilots would want to be based in the UK I doubt a combined seniority list would be much of a problem. The ochre coloured excretary material would only impinge on the rotary cooling device if the management tried to enforce compulsary overseas basing. This is something they cannot do at KLMuk at present & something no BALPA Company Council worth their salt will ever allow!

'Looking forward to the A320s.'
Sorry Slugman can't agree with you there. For a start any A320's will be maintained by the same people responsible for maintaining the F100's, so they will be 'Tech.' just as frequently. Secondly in today's job climate any EFIS jet time should help if you want to move airlines & lastly, why would you want to do another course/rating and all the hassle it involves for no extra money? I'll happily keep the F100 thanks!

Copenhagen - please get your facts right.
Buzz is NOT doing badly at all.
It was projected to lose money for three years. As is the norm in any new operation.
In fact it performed above projection in the last quarter, and the summer schedule looks very good indeed.
Sure it needs expansion, but that will come in time. Sooner rather than later would be preferable for us.

I really cant see the VNV allowing a merger of the klmuk and klm cityhopper seniority lists. What does need to be realised by the VNV is that it really makes sense that KLMuk are allowed to fly from the UK then into Europe and back to the uk, eg, STN-AMS-CDG-AMS-STN. Also for cityhopper to fly to the UK on the early slots. This would stop all the expensive and life disrupting night stops in AMS for the KLMuk crews and help to crew the Eurowings routes when they pull off later in the year.

What does it matter, Big Airways are going to con KLM into a merger, then when the ink on the deal is just about dry, they will take on the VNV. they will not give a hoot if they go on strike, they will just save the money they would have paid in salarys, this, i'm sure will make a dent in the redundancy bill for KLMuk, and the rest of the hangers on at AMS, with so many cloggies out of work in N.L. the house prices might ease off a bit, and I will buy a nice house out by the sea at sandfort. so hurry up B.A.
