Another Scare Story?
Headlining in that beacon of journalistic excellence is a story about how stretched LHR controllers are.

Is this a typical Mirror story or is there a grain of truth?

Sounds like a normal go around, but with the media spotlight on Heathrow, I guess they'll broadcast anything.

I don't fly to LHR normally, but I do plenty of AMS and I can say that the situation at LHR sounds identical to AMS. I don't particularly think this article is a Jurno-Freak Out, they do have a point. We are reaching saturation everywhere now and who knows what else will become the "norm" in the near future, just in order to keep it all going. I don't have a solution except this:
INTRODUCE BIRTH CONTROL NOW, MAX 2 KIDS PER FEMALE IN THE UK. THIS WILL REDUCE TRAFFIC JAMS AND EVENTUALLY AIR CONGESTION. WHY DO WE HAVE ALL THESE PEOPLE EVERYWHERE ANYWAY??????
