Thumbs up ATR Strike In Jet Airways

Hey guys a lil birdie told me last sunday the ATR pilots went on strike , all hell broke loose, and the management said they will LOOK IN THE MATTERS .

ha ha the boeing pilots arrogance was shattred,

Cause of strike, underpaid and badly treated ATR pilots ,really screwd up seniority policy, ( where a Boeing co-pilot gets Command long before any ATR senior captains are even considerd)

Just another info. the new wage agreement has been signed and all have been paid EXCEPT ---- The ATR pilots, still waiting, so i guess it was a bomb waiting to explode.

Like someome said Jet Airways _ Took the Joy out of my flying.

I thought there were plenty of unemployed pilots in India left, who will be dying to get in and fly for any airline. And I guess even at the so called "low" scales of Jet Airways ATR pilots!

Anyway a nice way to "fight" for intra company democracy. Great work - after all, as always the poor SLF are idiots! To the best of my knowledge there was no warning to the fare paying public that there was going to be any strike.

Thank you atleast for the magnanimity for deciding to exhibit your disruptive powers on a Sunday! And from now on I will make sure will fly Indian Airlines or Air Deccan (once they start from COK) next time! And incidentally incase you guys havent heard, the passengers are finally starting to get some choice of airlines in this part of the world !

Cheers

Hats of to the ATR pilots. They always had more balls than the boeing pilots. I suggest that anybody who want their carreers to go into the ground stick on with this miserable airline. To all the people who want to join it I suggest you consider some of the employee friendly airlines today. Jet Airways people who take the joy out of flying!!

An ATR carries a certain no of passengers so the amount of money an airline can pay to its pilots would depend on the amount they earn for the airline not on howmuch a Boeing pilot earns.

I do hope ATR pilots earn more and more but hopefully they will realise that a lot of people from all departments have put in a lot to place the airline where it is.
