777-300 blocks runway

Picked up this in the media:

France: AF's Paris-Tokyo Boeing breaks down
20 minutes, 31 Aug 2004, p.3:-
There is still no explanation for the failure which blocked a Boeing 777-300 operated by Air France, at the Paris-Roissy airport on 30 August 2004. The aircraft, bound for Tokyo, stopped at the end of the runway, following an automatic engine stop, a normal procedure in case of failure. Air France's maintenance services are studying the reasons for the breakdown, which affected 246 passengers.

Does anyone know if this is one of the new 300ER with GE90-115B under the wing?

Is this related to the repetative fuel problems that have been on these engines? I have seen reports of IFSD events prior to delivery to AF and JAL cancelling a flight for fuel leaking from the engine.

If it definitely was AF and very long then it was a -300ER with GE90-115Bs as AF don't have any -300s.

Cheers

Torque, thanks. I hadn't realised there were no -300 in AF. It was definitely an AF aircraft so must have been a 300ER. A friend was actually on the flight but was vague about the aircraft. This news item was the only thing I could find on the subject.

Does anyone know what caused this abort?
