What happeneded to MAN ATC yesterday?

Rumours of the radar going wobbly and ATC slots left right and centre.

Think it was about 1500z (very ish). Problem seemed to be rectified pretty smartish, so very little in the way of a knock on effect at our gaff.

man atc

Sat in the middle of that yesterday myself. Had a short slot that converted to an hour. Felt very sorry for the guys who had no slot and were informed that departures would occour on a slot basis and that they were now at the back of the queue.

All got better shortly after as we passed 10,000'

Apparently mct radar went T***s up. I was sat on the ground for about an hour and half because they suspended all departures. If we had missed our slot we could have encountered a 4 hour delay!! This was on Wednesday by the way!

First flight of latest NIMROD in formation with escorts- Woodford to Warton in the afternoon. Caused us to hold but was successful. Could this be the answer?
