Pandamonium at ABZ!!
I reckon I'd get in on an ambulance flight OK (but carrying an alternate). VFR over the ocean is do-able apart from the TEMPO period where it would depend on just how 'broken' the cloud is.
Can't remember - isn't there a LOC/DME approach? Is the ILS out because of GS or LOC availability?

Saw engineers workin on the localiser aerial. Came back online round 4pm thurs I think. Some helicopters were getting in, no fixed wing for a few hours, on SRA when they could. There were problems a few weeks ago too when there were big oscilations on the localiser I think, on one of the runways, so taken offline. Again, cloud below minima but they flew ILS to opposite runway with 10kt tailwind.
