Lhr Emergency Today 17th Jan

Anyone know what was wrong with the BA 319 (or maybe 320 - was watching from a distance) that landed and was then surrounded by firetrucks and BAA / Police patrol vehicles at around 11:30hrs local today? I noted that LHR was down to one runway for around 15 minutes whilst it all happened.

Any connection with subsequent cancellation of BA flights to Paris and Nice?

Whilst boarding our aircraft from our crew bus at CDG yesterday, we were parked on Charlie parking facing 26R, we observed a A319/320 doing a climb out on 26R with the nose gear sticking out, main gear tucked in on it's climb out. We were not able to tell the which airline it was, weather was quite terrible at the time.

We tuned into different frequencies during cockpit preperation and weren't able to know the outcome.

Anyone know anything more? Must have been around 13:15-13:30 yesterday, 16 January 2004.
