Mr Selfish asked:

How do I post some photos?
First of all, the picture needs to be already on a website, because the pictures here are not on the PPrune server but are all linked to other sites.

to make the picture viewable here, you put at the end. hopefully you should then see:
http://www.pprune.org/forums/images/ppforumslogo.gif

If you see a picture that you'd like to link to, right click on it, go to properties and that will show you the address.

If you have some pictures of your own that you'd like to get on the web, then try a site like Photobucket

Very nice pics... Thank for sharing them with us.

Can someone please tell me what the helicopter is in ic 27 (The big yellow and black S&R one!!) - I'm guessing at some sort of super puma but in reality I haven't got a clue!

Thanks!

Night Watchman 17th November 2004 13:26

Grob Driver,

It's a Super Puma L2 owned by Bristow Helicopters callsign G-JSAR. It was used for the original Jigsaw Offshore SAR Trial and is now providing Search and Rescue cover for the Oil Companies in the Dutch sector of the North Sea operating out of Den Helder.

I saw it there too.

PR,

Thanks for posting the pics.

We're having a busy and varied week: this morning was an organ transplant ferry (in the 117) into The Alfred hospital, Melbourne's major trauma centre: worth the O'crack sparrow phone call ;)

Number One started...

Organ out of the Lear:

Finals to The Alfred:
The helipad is hidden under the nose: it is a huge elevated pad across the road at the bottom of the photo (taken by my passenger).

http://trapdoor.darb.net/albums/heli...2048.sized.jpg

Here's a different angle to show the pad: we were approaching across the park from the left:
