Chicks and Choppers

After seeing Blenderpilot's pics from Mexico, I think we need a special category for "Chicks and Choppers"!

Fly Army

Squirrel 19th November 2003 03:49

That's the best I can do for chicks & choppers - unfortunately they're mostly covered up with Nomex!

This is a shot of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Alert 1 lifting off. We have 2 OH-58s we use for law enforcement missions, and a UH-1 we use for EMS/Fire supression missions. I hope to get some pictures of the UH-1 in here shortly.

This is another picture of Alert 1 flying by NASA's vehicle assembly building in a neighboring county.

This MD is used for many different things, it recently visited our hangar and I got this picture of it, I really like the fact that it is amazingly quiet!

Another Catenary Photo

I am not sure who is in this shot. It may be during training as the pad was designed for a JetRanger.

One of the previous pilots that tried using the Astar for this same pad admitted to getting into severe resonance. Not a good place to be, surrounded by wires, 700 feet AGL and 4400 feet ASL.
