HEC with a 206? How do you validate that with your risk assessment? Oh yeah - it’s the home of the free! Stopped doing that about 20 years ago.

It is done all day long here, the accidents I know of involving powerline HEC had nothing to do with the aircraft type and would not have been prevented by using twins. No-one is asking you to do it.

Hi All,
Received an email from Excel saying they’re looking for 155 Capts/Co-Pilots, Flight Ops Manager and a Training Manager? Anyone know who’s looking for so many qualified 155 pilots in Europe?
Cheers MINself

There was an Offshore gig in Romania a while ago... They initially wanted to start off with 155s, then I heard they changed their minds and intended to buy 139s instead..

Maybe they realized how expensive it would be, and have now turned back to utilizing 155s?

Would be interested in it as well..

Well, "Eastern Mediterranean" immediately suggests Cyprus, and sure enough a quick google shows them to be a Cypriot company. The AW139 they have on their website is ex-ADA then OMNI Aero Taxi. https://synesisaviation.com/main/about-us/

Interestingly, although they don't mention them in their fleet details, there is a photo, on the main page, of their hangar with three S70s parked in it!

Judging by the lighting, I’d put that down to overly ambitious photoshopping!

Agile 23rd Feb 2021 05:09

Not photoshop, very likely an architecture modeling software that makes photo realistic renderings,
Designer seem unfamilliar with the typical hangar:

who stole all the tools? 1 2 3 at the back. ?!
Damm.. James.... you parked in "1" again, you know its my spot.
