Good luck |
Terrible news being reported on another thread. The loss of an Irish SAR S92. That is a CHC contract.
|
Worthless shares can have a value if somebody needs them, for example having sold short.
|
CHC have now officially exited CH 11. |
Roundwego, I'm sure plenty of others will go through it before CHC does again. And many others would like to.

1 Billion plus debt Holders are now owners...Is that right?
Hope they all have a long term view on this Bad Boy! |

Didn’t they just have a global clear out and optimisation at the tail end of last year? This link suggests that 47 UK staff will go. Would suspect that the majority of this is linked to the ShellNam contract loss in the southern North Sea but still 20+ being touted from Aberdeen also. The press release from Babcock last week suggesting the North Sea O&G operations is a sinking ship and they plan not to invest in it much further. Covid is clearly a driver at the moment and looks like it’s a race to the bottom again in pricing. Must be NHV? All the best to those who are involved (Yet again) |
Not sure if this is old news
NHV Group, a provider of B2B helicopter services, recently announced it has signed a five-year contract extension with Ithaca Energy (U.K.) Limited, providing aviation services to the Ithaca Energy Group’s operated FPF-1 installation, Alba, Captain and Erskine fields in the Scottish North Sea. The extension covers seven day-a-week coverage out of Aberdeen and will start in January 2021. This extension is a direct result of NHV’s continued commitment to safety and top-class service for our client and their passengers. We thank Ithaca Energy for their continued trust in NHV and we look forward to supporting them in the years ahead,” said Jamie John, NHV’s base manager in Aberdeen. |
The rumour is that it’s getting down to the wire re industrial action for CHC Australia pilots.
Any news? |

I hear that CHC didn’t get the Beach Energy contract out of Tooradin because of the industrial action.

Hearing rumours of a few immediate departures in the SLT of CHC Scotia today including the RD.
Anyone know if true or not? |

Makes you wonder what else they are "not doing"?

I am sure it will come out soon but I just hope this doesn’t damage the company and the reputation it has with its customers. |
CHC is staying quiet on what's gone on. The statement I have says: "Yesterday [19 Sept], there was a change in personnel in UK and Norway. New Accountable Managers have been swiftly appointed. There has been a brief operational pause in Norway whilst the new appointment is ratified by the CAA; oil and gas operations will resume shortly. Search and Rescue services have been unaffected. There has not been any operational impact in the UK.”
I'm assuming the accountable manager was the RD, in this instance, although can't get that confirmed. The Norwegian GM is/was also one of only three directors of CHC Holding (UK). |

The birds appear to be flying today so looks to be no disruption. Accountable manager in the article posted above is the GOM from what I can tell. Well certainly for Norway. The Accountable manager for UK appears to be the RD yes. |

Makes sense then. Looks to have been an abrupt exit and fits in with what I’ve just been told. Abrubt exits only happen for one reason.

Companies House is showing that Mark Abbey, Roy Middleton and Kate Standring had their appointments as directors of CHC Scotia terminated on 17 September. They have been replaced by Dave Belevic, Miguel Carrasco, and Kevin Spengler. As yet, there are no changes to the directorships at CHC Holding (UK).
