Body's

For those of us that work in third world countries, sights of dead people are common, worse still is seeing badly injured children, that tears my hart, and you tend to go the extra mile to get them help. To be in a position to return loved ones to family is also a privilege, as hard as it is, but necessary all the same and you find that the family will be great full for ever. Good job VF.

mikeygd 26th Feb 2014 19:54

VF -

As above. If I can I check this thread daily, to see the sights you see every day. Your pictures are really awesome and I hope you never stop showing us your scenery.

I've seen worse pictures on t'internet but you should know that some of us (whose day job doesn't involve dealing with the sort of sights you are no doubt accustomed to) do not want to, and are not used to seeing images of the deceased.

I would be happier imagining you never have to deal with this sort of stuff and fly about all day just to take stunning photo's.

Edit: Excellent, we have normality.
Reason for edit: A close up of the crash site has been removed :ok:

It's not always fun up here, but You gotta do Your job. And I like to share my job with You all here on PPRuNe. Appreciate the sentiments hence the last photo is not public, but still viewable for those who wish to take that extra step (it is not for the faint hearted please exercise caution) :\

Land back Happy always :ok:

"upper Helipad buried in cloud"

How do you class the lower helipad if you say the upper was buried in cloud ?

Namaste 500N

the lower Helipad was pretty marginal too, but as the weather was moving in & out fast, 8-10knots there were intermittent holes in the clouds below that would allow You to dive into the river & escape that way :yuk: := :O

Happy Landings :ok:
