Langtang Village 72 homes below the mud (behind)......other homes in the area destroyed by falling rocks from the sky &/or wind jetblast from the massive avalanche that triggered the rock/mud slide that entombed the village & occupants....RIP Blessed Souls

Brave Nepali Army search for Blessed Bodies in the landslide rubble, that buried the entire village. 230 found to this day. After 11am rocks & boulders shower from the marane skies above, making working to dangerous, so Searching starts pre dawn, departs at 10:30 the fall zone...........

Whats your first limit during the summer?
We operate big machine in similar conditions and the first limit is the TR

TRE???? if that is torque, then we never hit a TRQ limit up here ever :8 Ng is always the first & only limit, even in Summer we don't T4 temp out; ever! :ooh:

TRE if Tail Rotor Effectiveness then yes we do suffer LTA above 20,000' in ISA +20 conditions or more; on extreme DA days :} You can easily hit the power peddle bump-stop limit on short final where Your out of pedal, but not out of power :eek:

Yaaar the ole Bird falling from the tree into the TR, & on take-off trick :ouch: I bet the Bird didn't see that one coming :mad:

I heard.........he'd landed at the H told by office, which was the wrong H for the clients, during departure he was too heavy....during the power check the aircraft drifted & came in contact with a rock that was politely sitting there, hence the Tail-Rotor fling-wings, flung off, causing a roll-over. No serious injuries & a lucky escape for all, as the machine caught fire & burnt to the ground shortly after :\
