I am temped to say my eyes are still so good that I can make out the distinctive fixed landing gear with diagonal brace on the photo. (About as good as yours seeing turbine engines?) Besides, Twin pins were operated in Nepal around 1972. Cheers SLB |
the "twin Pin" would be 9N-RF6

VF, Spent many trips with my folks flying from Aeropelican to Sydney return back in the 80's-90's in the Aeropelican Twotters. Loved the recent series of Everest rescue, was great apart from a bit of narrative hype:) |

Hi VF, It is now 2 years since the earthquake devastated Nepal. How did your fundraising go?, I like to think my small contribution went someway to help restore peoples lives.
Keep on with the photos - uplifting. |

Hi again VF,
You must have one of the best pilot jobs in the world, right on top of it in fact ! Can't think of many regions where you get your breath taken away by the view every single day. Cheers, NEO |
I work in PNG and my breath gets taken away every single day as well but it has got nothing to do with the view. :suspect:

Note the engine oil pressure @ 20,000' :( fuel burn is cool (slim) though :ouch: http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...G_0849%201.jpg |
VF, are you leaving this job? The other site suggests you may be looking elsewhere. If so you're leaving behind some mighty shoes to fill. You'll also need to keep up the great photos...or at least tell the new guy or gal to do so :ok:
Cheers FP |
