In those vids the tail rotor seems to have a huge 'negative' coning angle (tips a lot closer to the fin than the root). Also, the angle of attack of the TR on the lift and turn seems large.
Are these artefacts of the video or are the forces required that big? |
I would bet its a visual effect of the camera shutter. Same reason blades appear to bend cord wise.
That amount of flapping (if real) would induce huge lead-lag strain, just thinking. |
