Planning to go but there are 'difficulties' in the logistics for foreign [non-EU] visitors that may work against the event. They may yet get in my way.

There is a significant charge to enter, to be added to travel and accommodation, which may deter many even though an entry charge is not unusual in Europe as well as the HAI Heli-Expo.

The big plus for the event is that it is pretty much the first real event in the sector for two years!

It's the only trade show in Europe supported by the manufacturers. Expect 15+ helicopters in the halls and over 150 exhibitors

Yes its looks promising, maybe this will get to be the show that Helitech never quite made, and Helitech can go back to its origin of fly-in party

Just curious as to thoughts from anyone who attended - those couple I spoke to said about the same as Helitech in downtown London - nothing special.

European shows are different to the USA in the fact that they are a meeting of the "Mutual Appreciation Society"

Mainly a gathering of government funded EMS operators and not much representation for private or corporate sectors as that business is of no consequence in the EU.

The first European Rotors last year was excellent, way better than Helitech so looking forward to the next one in a fortnight,

Last year the following exhibited:

Airbus Helicopters
- first five blade H145 for ADAC Luftrettung
- ACH125

Bell
First 505 in Europe belonging to Mountainflyers

Bell 429 demonstrator on the Airborne Law enforcement demo with ESG technik

Leonardo
Heli-Service AW169

Then likes of Heli-Austria brought their H125 and R44 from their Heli-Austria Academy, ADAC Luftrettung brought their H135, couple of flight training schools brought their R44 and Cabri G2,

Anyone from here going to Cologne in a fortnight?

cheers

Yes I will be going.

Quite expensive in the present financial climate but undoubtedly the only option in Europe to get immersed in a rotary event before decisions are made about Heli-Expo next March in Atlanta, GA..

I will be there days 1 and 2. The organisers are saying that they are 25% ahead of their 2021 figures on everything already, exhibitor numbers included.
