Barclay Brothers S76 ??

Does anyone know if they have sold the aircraft? Hasn’t been seen in months. Did they sell everything along with the Ritz? I believe they also made all of the Island of Brecqhou staff redundant too or was this just yet another rumour too?

According to the Guernsey register, the ownership of 2-BYDF has not changed since 2014.
FR24 is showing it's most recent flight as Farnborough - Guernsey on March 19th 2020.

Interesting. Seems like a very long time to have not flown anywhere. Pandemic must be affecting them in a big way and maybe there businesses have taken a huge hit? Or was that around the time the Ritz was also sold? Package deal? Rumours in Guernsey are that the island was recently sold. You just have to love rumours.

Haven't we all been in lockdown since March 23rd? Only essential journeys!

I’m fairly certain a private island or even an old legacy s76 is way beyond my financial standing. Yes I suppose the lockdown may have grounded the s76. I’d just have thought there would be a requirement for maintenance flights between now and then. Ive heard nothing positive recently. Good luck to all involved.

You wouldnt think so seeing how many UK registered helicopters have been flying over the past months, April was on average 50+ a day, its gradually built up to over 100+ each day weather permitting.

I think the Barclay brothers are too busy fighting in court with each other (and their children) over alleged industrial espionage to be spending much time in their helicopter at the moment.
