Reminds me of a rodeo. Would the rotorshaft have cables running up it to change the pitch? Maybe like an Enstrom? (I'm not sure if that's how an Enstrom works.)
The CG was just a little rearward. Only the "pilot" and a plastic can of fuel forward of the mast.
When the person's first flight and his first solo coincide, the results are pretty predictable.

Looks like he understood the idea of the cyclic and collective but hadn't worked out that the pitch of the TR needed to be adjustable, he just seems to have footrests....
Below the Glidepath - not correcting
Although he has thoughtfully included the mount for the spray bar, so he can earn some money crop spraying while he waits for "The Theory of Helicopter Flight - Volume 2" to arrive by Amazon.
